The Behavior Trait Awareness Games were developed by Julie Weir, a Certified DynaMetric Professional since 2002, to use in addition to the PDP reports to reinforce learning about the different traits. Playing the games makes learning about the PDP traits fun and interactive, thus resulting in increased participant retention of the new information. The board games use the concept that people come from four "planets" (Dominance, Extroversion, Pace and Conformity) and how each "planet's" behavior traits differ. Research has shown that for people to retain new material, they have to use it six times in six different ways. These games create fun additional ways for participants to interact with and review the PDP information four more times during the course of play; reading the game piece description, discussing it with team mates, placing the game piece under the right "planet" heading, reviewing the answer key and discussing which answers they got wrong and why.
